MTCI Rangoli 2017
“Everyday sun rises to give us the message that darkness will always be beaten by light.” We need to reinstate our belief in the supernatural rule that no matter what, finally, the good will triumph over the evil!
So at MTCI, this Dussehra like many other Indian festivals was celebrated in a very splendid way. Many of the Hindu festivals are related to great epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata and Dussehra is one of the main ones. Dussehra is also called Vijayadashami and is celebrated as victory of Goddess Durga over the demon Mahisasura. The festival of Dussehra gives us a main message that it gives us victory of good over the evil and success of truth over lies.
During this festive season MTCI was all geared up for celebrating it with Rangoli - a colourful beginning. As this festival is the festival for feminine felicitation, employees dressed up in a very traditional attire combining it with jewels and other accessories.
The event was scheduled on 26th September between 2:00pm - 6:00pm with enthusiastic participants for the Rangoli competition.
Many beautiful designs & symbol of prosperity were made in from of Rangoli. We had closed the event with a folk dance called Bathukamma with beautiful flower stack in between the made Rangoli. Bathukamma represents the cultural spirit of Telangana. ‘Bathukamma' means ‘Mother Goddess come Alive’ and Goddess Maha Gauri-‘Life Giver’ is worshipped in the form of Bathukamma - the patron goddess of womanhood, Maha Gauri Devi.
Employees spontaneously danced in joy by celebrating it in style with “Rangoli”- the origin of spirituality through art in India.
